psalm 1

i have never made it a discipline to memorize scripture, so i am going to do it now this summer! or something...i'm not really sure. in any case, going through the OT is fun, but mostly narrative. i'm hungry for more...so, i'm going to go through psalms too. the first one is so apropos for gen 29: to not follow, stand, or sit, but fleeee and the fact that i ought to meditate in God's word more often because that is what will allow me to bear fruit. interesting...if you read my journal from last week, that's definitely been something i've been wondering about: you will know me by my fruit? what will my fruit look like? am i producing fruit?
