we sure are cute for two ugly people

so this is probably not the best time to be cleaning, but anyway...i found these thoughts that i scribbled down during beach retreat at the beginning of the year. the theme of that retreat was "do i have time for this?" and it was about taking a godly rest and a sabbath and all that. anyway, it was also something that i was thinking about a little this morning when i felt about how stressed i was. i really want to make time to just rest (in a godly way) next year. i think i am going to be more insistent on this sabbath thing. i hope. i expect. anyway, before i throw away these crusty post-its, i'm just going to record what i wrote here because i think this was probably one of the most defining moments of my first semester and one of the few times that i thought very clearly. i don't really know what order these post-it notes go so i'm just going to number them randomly

#1:
- live for the moment

standing

more detriment or realization of faith?

FAITH --> build things the only way that I know how...reliance on work

hmm i feel like kind of a different person already

on another post it in my bag, i had written goals for the way that i saw my next year being. next year is going to be theme 3: organization & focus...something like that

- don't lose sight of passion
- don't be afraid of change
- be real
- be aware of present past & future
