im confused. do i enjoy higher thought? i find papers the most draining and tedious because they are so challenging incorporating old sources to form a new argument with analysis and rhetoric and all that is lovely is exciting...in theory. and so i prefer an exam because you can just cram and squeeze. is that taking the easier way out?
and besides, my papers always end up failing my expectations. when was the last time i wrote something that i was proud to look back on? 10th grade.
ok. the plan is to start papers earlier. and draft them by hand.
who knows if this will work. when am i going to write a paper next anyway?
i'm taking 4 science classes next semester.
plus 2 non-science courses.
one of them is in chinese though
oh dear.
hm, maybe it starts by putting more thought into even these entries. practicing thoughtful writing rather than this. oh why do i spew words like trash.

im taking chinese in the fall as well. i think its the class im most looking forward to. i think "higher thought" is more or less a blessing that is only reasonable when all other more "real" matters have been accounted for. also, drafting papers by hand is quite ridiculous. does some random paper have that much meaning to you? TOO MUCH INTEGRITY!
